Solong Zhang was born in 1988 Shenzhen, China. He started dancing when he was 14, and later studied in Shenzhen Arts School majoring in Chinese Dance. In year 2011, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Dance from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with full scholarship. Since then, Zhang has danced and created performances for many other companies and festivals,including Hong Kong Arts Festival, Hong Kong City Contemporary Dance Festival, Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre and Seoul International Dance Festival 2015. Zhang is also known as a street dance artist (Bboy). He played his role in Tripline Crew, which was the first team that represented China joined the international street dance competition in Korea 2006 “Bboy Unit 8 International”.
