Description

In a relationship, conflicts make couples want to gain the upper hand. They pull each other, trample on each other’s self-esteem, and push each other in the argument, from the table to the floor, from the kitchen to the bedroom. The living space shrinks as the conflict escalates. The relationship of the couple is like being blocked. They pull each other, trying to drag each other down from the high ground of the argument, and then stand up again, extending the argument to every corner of the room.
